Google User Data

To provide a secure and personalized experience, I access the following information from your Google Account:

Email Address: Accessed to verify that you are a valid Ateneo student or staff member (checking for @student.ateneo.edu or @ateneo.edu domains).
Name: Accessed to display a personalized greeting within the application.
Profile Picture: Accessed to display your avatar in the navigation bar.

This data is used solely for identity verification and UI display. I do not use this data for advertising, nor do I share it with third parties.

Ateneo Utils' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Collection & Storage

Your basic profile information (Name, Email, and Profile Picture) is stored securely in my database to maintain your user session.

Official class schedules are fetched from a secure database purely to generate combinations.

Grade Calculator data is processed entirely on your device. I do not store your grades, QPI targets, or course history on the server.

Analytics: I use Umami Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregated usage counts (e.g., number of schedules generated, features used, login attempts). This helps me understand which tools are useful. I do not collect personal data like your actual schedule combinations, grades, or personal identifiers through analytics. The tracking operates on a privacy-first basis without cross-site tracking cookies.

Data Retention & Deletion

I retain your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) for as long as you maintain an account to facilitate your login.

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact me at [email protected]. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.

Local Storage

Your generated schedules, cart selections, grade inputs, QPI targets, and preference configurations are stored locally in your browser. I do not have access to your specific schedule plans, grade data, or the combinations you create.

Security Measures

I implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/SSL).
Secure database storage with strict access controls.
Regular security updates and dependencies monitoring.

Your Google Account password is never accessed or stored by this application.
